Salma Hayek cumplió 60 años y deslumbró con su colección de bikinis hot: “Todo es meditación”

Salma Hayek turned 60 and proved once again that age has not changed one of the traits that have distinguished her for decades: her confidence when showing herself and the figure she displays in her photographs.

The actress, who celebrated her birthday on September 2nd, often shares photos of her vacations and relaxing moments in which she appears in a bikini. One of the most memorable was the one she posted in August 2024 from a luxury yacht in Ibiza, where she posed in a yellow bikini with her hair braided.

“Yellow bikini + white hair = perfect combination ,” she wrote alongside the photograph, which quickly received numerous comments from her followers.

But behind that image lies a philosophy of self-care that Hayek has shared in various interviews. The actress asserted that she has never resorted to Botox, fillers, or peels, and attributed part of her appearance to the use of tepezcohuite, a bark traditionally used in Mexico for its skin-regenerating properties.

“I use an ingredient called tepezcohuite, which in Mexico is used to treat burn victims because it completely regenerates the skin ,” she explained in an interview with Elle .

The actress has also mentioned meditation on several occasions as one of the pillars of her well-being. Far from considering exercise the only way to stay in shape, Salma stated that she has found in this practice an alternative that better suits her lifestyle.

“I really think it is. People say it’s exercise. I think it’s meditation ,” she said when talking about the secret to her figure in an interview with Entertainment Tonight .

In addition to meditation, Hayek said she uses frequency machines as part of her self-care routine. She explained that the specialists who work with them have indicated that they produce particularly good results in her case.

At 60, the actress maintains a relationship with her image that began long before she reached this new decade. The photographs she shares, especially those in which she appears in a bikini, have become over the years one of the ways her fans follow her life off-screen.
